Single-dotted Wave

If you have seen a Butterfly or Moth you can't put a name to then post a photo of it here and we'll try and identify it for you.

Single-dotted Wave

This looks to me like a Single-dotted Wave but they aren't supposed to be around in the first week of October. Found near the trap last night in my Kincardine (NS98) garden. Have I got the right identification or is it something altogether different?

Yes, agree that's what it is. Most strange. I see there's an equally late one for SW Scotland.
