Wave?

If you have seen a Butterfly or Moth you can't put a name to then post a photo of it here and we'll try and identify it for you.

Can anyone identify the attached. I think it's a wave of some sort but can't find anything that matches the irregular chocolate coloured outermost cross line with the contained dark spot.

Yes! Thank you, Mark. I had just come back to the site to update to a tentative suggestion of a Least Carpet - which would make no sense in the Cairngorms. I see now from my books that the Silver-ground is quite variable and my one is a good match to some of the variations, if not to them all. Thanks.
