(3) Epinotia bilunana (first since 1980)

(4) Metzneria metzneriella (first since 1980)

and another
N5677.jpg

(5) Elachista triatomea (new to VC84)

Mark Young has replied:

C. ulicetana correct
E. tertraquetrana correct
E. bilunana correct
M. metzneriana, probably correct, especially if in a filed with knapweed. If by burdock then consider M. lappella, but the middle spot is more like M. metzneriana.
E. triatomea correct
C. atricapitana correct
Last one is possibly Coleophora serratella but could be one of the other dark brown Coleophora - cant be sure.

What I cant understand, mind you is why such common species have no recent records!
