Another Micro.

If you have seen a Butterfly or Moth you can't put a name to then post a photo of it here and we'll try and identify it for you.

Hi all,
Found this one today at Gordon Moss in Berwickshire....not the greatest photo...VERY small moth...habitat wetland Birch..among nettle and Goosegrass...a group of 10-20...very detailed moth, I would have loved to get a side on view, as it was more detailed from that angle...I can do macro....but Micro is a whole new ballgame. Cheers IAC.

Hi,

You do find some smart looking micros! Looks like Grapholita jungiella based on browsing the hantsmoths web site http://www.hantsmoths.org.uk/images/Grapholita_Jungiella4118_KT.jpg(which I find very good).

Hi Mark, Thankyou for that id...I must have gone through a few thousand mugshots last night on UK Moths without a result...these micros are amazing....the details and colours are mindblowing considering their size..they can be so easily overlooked. Cheers IAC.
