Is Spring springing?

Postby DonMatthews » Wed 25 May 2016 10:12

Monday night's trap contents in my Kincardine garden were looking quite Spring-like. 10 moths of 9 species, including my first records for the year of Brimstone Moth, Heart and Dart, Pale-shouldered Brocade, Common Marbled Carpet, Turnip Moth and V-Pug. The garden is noisy with young Starlings but there's no sign yet of the Tree Sparrows taking food to the nestbox. Roll on Summer!
