clouded yellow

Apologies for late post. Yesterday at 12 noon at crossroads of Milton Road West and Duddingston Park my girlfriend and I observed a medium sized bright yellow butterfly which alighted on leafy shrubs alongside residential flats just north of the junction on Duddingston Park. We were able to look quite closely at the butterfly which had dark spots on the underwing and a dark border to the upperside. I have to reiterate that this was a bright yellow species, not creamy or white in any way. Pictures on the internet confirmed my initial ID of clouded yellow. Of course I didn't have my iphone with me but the butterfly was very obliging moving around the shrubs for a couple of minutes pausing frequently.
Regards
Mike
