Hi all,
Forecast was doom and gloom as per and it turned out to be a corker of an afternoon. Just a short walk down by the river I found plenty of Peacock and Comma as well as a single Small Tortoiseshell, Speckled Wood, Large White, Small White, Green-veined White and Orange-tip, all in low numbers. The Peacock were fairly aggressive this afternoon, bouts of dog-fighting even when it became overcast for a spell.

Iain.
