Yes, they are still flying. Abbie saw some Red Admirals feeding on ivy near Longniddry today! :D

Saw a Painted Lady sunning herself (?) on the south-facing side of a large flowerpot in Kings Grove, Longniddry today

Wow, that is a great sighting Jim. It should be sunning itself in North Africa just now. There were a few early sightings last year, so I wonder if it will be able to make it through the winter.
