Another Red Admiral A.G.M. on flowering ivy was taking place at Setonhill today.
East of Gladsmuir, take road to Trabroun farm, pass farm and continue to a T junction with ivy clad walls along 50mt or so of woodside.
There were also at least two Comma and a Peacock .
One of the commas seemed especially dark but left me wishing I had taken a distant pic before trying for a close up which sent it off.
Problem was, despite the late date,it was so warm and sheltered they were all very active.
Great to see so many ,so late.........g
